BIO

Cláudia Casimiro, (PhD) is an Invited Assistant Professor at ISCSP, University of Lisbon (ISCSP- ULisboa), and full research member at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Gender Studies (CIEG/ISCSP-Ulisboa).
PhD in Social Sciences, specialty in Sociology (Institute of Social Sciences, University of Lisbon). Co-coordinator of the “Families and Life Course” Network of the Portuguese Sociological Association.
Research interests include families, gender, Information and communication technologies, and online dating.

Lectures in the Curso de Licenciatura em Sociologia do ISCSP-ULisboa; lectures in the Mestrado em Família e Género do ISCSP-ULisboa; collaborates as a professor in the Doutoramento em Estudos de Género (ISCSP-ULisboa, FCSH-UNL e FD-UNL) as well as Doutoramento InterUniversitátio em Sociologia OpenSoc.

Coordinates with Magda Nico (CIES/ISCTE-IUL) and Vanessa Cunha (ICS-ULisboa, the Secção Temática Famílias e Curso de Vida of Associação Portuguesa de Sociologia (APS).
