He is currently a Professor at ISLA - Polytechnic Institute of Management and Technology and an Integrated Researcher at the Institute of Sociology of the University of Porto, where he coordinates various research projects and networks, most notably RICOT - Research Network on Working Conditions and the Social Barometer Platform.
